「ForesightNews」据Cointelegraph报道，自2022年初以来，Foresightnews消息，包括Tether、稳定货币发行商，包括Circle和其他公司，在国会游说立法者方面花费了超过100万美元。据公共利益媒体ProPublica介绍，Tether聘请了MichaelJasonlee的律师事务所进行游说。自2022年初以来，Tether已经花费了约60万美元，其中每季度花费12万美元游说美国参议院和众议院。2021年底，Circle开始与战略咨询公司Invariant合作游说，此后至少花费了56万美元，该公司的季度游说预算目前为10万美元。自2022年初以来，Paxos已花费约30万美元游说。
