According to Foresight News, Jason Zhao, co-founder of the blockchain platform Story, announced his decision to donate all his AICC tokens, valued at approximately $1.78 million, to support the development of open-source AI projects on Story and other blockchain platforms.
Zhao emphasized that Aiccelerate's primary goal is to advance open-source research and development in public artificial general intelligence (AGI). He believes that AI should be open-source, decentralized, and publicly accessible. To support this vision, Zhao is donating his first $1 million in AICC tokens to high-quality teams working on open-source projects that not only drive AI development but also align with Story's vision of a universal AI IP system.
The donation will be distributed based on project milestones, ensuring a transparent process where all tokens are dedicated to research purposes.
