From 5,000 to 1,000,000: My Journey in the Cryptocurrency Circle

I have a few thousand yuan and want to make a million in the currency circle. How do I do it?

Earning a million in the cryptocurrency industry is a long and arduous process. When I entered the cryptocurrency industry as a freshman, I only had a principal of 5,000 yuan. Now, as a senior, I hold 1 million yuan in assets. The process behind this took three years of hard work and exploration.

When I first started, like many people, I got caught up in the altcoin hype. I remember that during the 519 crash that year, I lost a total of 3,000 yuan, which left me helpless. Later, I tried to participate in the public offering of coinlist accounts, but the seller ran away and I lost 2,000 yuan. In the past six months, not only did I not make any money, but I suffered continuous losses, which made me doubt the correctness of this path and even delayed my studies.

Until one time, I participated in an airdrop on dydx, a decentralized contract platform, and received hundreds of thousands of tokens, which surprised me. So I decided to move in the direction of airdrops. Although I didn’t have enough principal at the beginning, I was not discouraged. I started to participate in various low-cost airdrop projects, such as matcha, slingshot, clipper, superfluid, etc. Although some projects have not yet been airdropped, I have not given up.

Subsequently, there was news about the airdrop of Optimism, the second-layer protocol of Ethereum, and I got 2496 OP tokens, which I sold and exchanged for 20,000 yuan, at a cost of only 50 US dollars. This gave me a little sweet taste for airdrops, so I continued to work hard in this direction. During the summer vacation, while learning to drive, I participated in the interaction of zksync, zigzag, argent, rabbit, safe and other projects, trying to accumulate experience.

As time went by, I continued to participate in various airdrop projects, including the airdrop of aptos, a layer 1 project based on the move language developed by the Facebook team, and the airdrop of arbitrum, the layer 2 solution of Ethereum. I also interacted with a hundred accounts on the test network of sui network. All these efforts finally paid off at some point in 23 years, and I earned less than 20,000 yuan.

The real reward, however, comes later. When the exchange zigzag on zksync 1.0 announced the airdrop, I got the airdropped zz tokens and made 40,000 yuan after selling them. Then, after Arbitum announced the airdrop, I made another 160,000 yuan.I kept learning and participating, and accumulated wealth bit by bit.

In the following time, I continued to consolidate layerzero and starknet, and opened a new account to participate in the zksync airdrop. The cost in both my time and money was huge, but I kept persevering. Until recently, Starknet Foundation announced that they had taken a snapshot, and on Valentine’s Day, they announced the airdrop results. Although I lost the qualification for 150 accounts due to insufficient account balance, the remaining 50 accounts received 4.50,000 strk tokens, which are currently worth 68,000.

It is now March 2024. It has been three years since I entered the currency circle. I started with 5,000 yuan, experienced countless ups and downs and hard work, and finally earned my first million yuan. This is not only the accumulation of wealth, but also the result of my unremitting exploration and struggle over the past three years.
